Now he is the owner of the team with the worst winning percentage in NBA history, inspiration for millions of dad jeans jokes and guy who has dance-offs in the club for a friend’s birthday.

Pippen’s wife, Larsa, planned the secret bash at Chicago hot spot Sunda. Growing up as a Bulls fan, I always wanted to see Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen go one-on-one — since Pippen was the theoretically ideal defender to go up against Jordan, it would have been great — but not like this. Not ever like this. I would still pay $60 to watch this on pay-per-view, but still. Goodbye forever, childhood.
